I first became aware of it from a live cut by Kenny Chesney (which is the style I sing it in) but have fallen in love with Loggins version as well. One of my favorite verses of any song is the second verse of this one because I love the snow and the mountains. It was released on his “Apprentice (In a Musical Workshop)” Album in 1974.
