So having played both, the difference might be hard to hear. The more obvious difference is in the cosmetics. The clean tone/higher frequencies are definitely tighter with the waza. Expected considering the upgraded components to the buffer. Is it worth the upgrade? If it is in the budget yes. Could you totally live without it? Also a yes. Combined with a distortion in your chain, the waza will provide an improvement to your tone but it is something that could easily be done without, and for gigs and loud outdoor performances this might not be even noticeable. And speaking of outdoor performances, the sun glaring into the LEDs of the Waza may prove to be a problem as the overall LED color is darker (blue) compared to the normal versions brighter orange. The waza seems like an April Fools Joke almost haha. That being said, in the body of the sound in the strumming sections, you can hear more clarity in the higher frequencies before youtube knicked down the audio quality (that being said you can hear it when switching between the beginning of the sections). You could hear a slight difference in pull-off and hammer-on sections but it is negligible safe to say unless the little things really bother you. Money might be more efficiently spent on a cool EarthQuaker effect pedal or if you wanna boost your clean tone maybe like a vertex steel string (if you want that John Mayer-y PRS Silversky/Dumble Sound). I personally have my setup in the studio and it is an environment where small changes can be heard and affect my mood.
