Hegemony of the Food Chain | Hunter x Hunter Violin Cover | ハンター×ハンターバイオリン

I consider Hegemony of the Food Chain to be the pinnacle of the Hunter x Hunter soundtrack. It showcases Yoshihisa Hirano's compositional ingenuity stemming from his classical training at Juilliard while encapsulating the essence of the anime. The original is an orchestral rollercoaster ride, just over five minutes in length, and has moments where the composer brings unexpected sounds like those of electronics. As far as I know, no one has arranged and covered Hegemony of the Food Chain. That means it was up to me to transcribe everything by ear: no references other than the original recording - only my piano, notation program, and musical training. What makes this piece so difficult to transcribe is that it's often atonal (not in a key) and uses a lot of unconventional sounds that I had to figure out how to recreate on violin. I felt that this arrangement needed my entire set of instruments, so I've included 2 violins, 1 violin transposed down to a viola range, and piano.
