Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - Classic Mode - Sephiroth (DLC)

Read description Doing Sephiroth's Classic Mode run. "Congratulations on clearing the Boss Rush mode!" Palutena told the stoic-looking Sephiroth, ignoring the fact Chris was standing farther away from Sephiroth's reach when taking Masamune's reach into account. For added security, his Lucario was standing in the middle, glaring daggers at the madman. If the reader hadn't realized yet, his Lucario was the show's acting guard since the beginning. "Oh, wait. Classic Mode. Right. Ugh. How come we don't have a Boss Rush Mode yet?" "Like I should know the answer to that," Sephiroth said before he smiled rather darkly. "I shouldn't complain about going through such challenge, however. I welcome any opportunity to extend my influence through my own skills." "Dial it down several notches. Apparently, word of the street is thousands of people already fear you," she said. "Not me, though. I think your hair is amazing. Kind of matches mine." "...That seriously is the only thing you can think of me? My hair?" Sephiroth asked, rather disturbed that the goddess wasn't kneeling down to him already. "Congratulations. You confused even him with your antics," Chris said. "To avoid more of this, please just ask him something more relevant." "Yeah. Besides, we all know my hair is, like, the most divine hair ever," Viridi said, flipping her ponytail. No one wanted to talk about her hair just to keep her from going on a long tangent about it. "Fine. No hair talk," Palutena said. "Back to more 'on topic' things, what is your next goal after plowing through the bosses?" Sephiroth was thankful to talk about more pressing matters than just his really kick*** hair. He chuckled. "I've been informed that I cannot further my own personal goals to achieve perfection under my mother's name...so..." His expression fell a little flat. "...Really, all I can do is torment Cloud some more... Ugh." He folded his arms. "Sure, messing with his mind has become a real guilty pleasure, but I can't be expected to do just that while I'm in this strange gathering of misfits. I shouldn't waste my chance at life doing that. It's...degrading." Chris blinked. "...Holy crap. Being here is making him revalue his life choices," he said. "I can't believe it. He hasn't been driven to further insanity unlike most of the fighters here." "Oh, don't be mistaken, child," Sephiroth said, terrifying Chris for getting his attention. "I still intend to become someone greater than a pitiful mortal. But while here, I must do some soul-searching and enjoy myself in some valuable way." "Oh! You can totally have Pit and Dark Pit be your punching bags!" Viridi suggested with a sly grin. "Viridi, please. Everyone here is everyone else's punching bag, and that's ironically excluding THE actual Sandbag," Palutena said, with a literal Sandbag right next to her. "Heh heh. Hey, guys. Take a photo of me trying to give this an uppercut." "Focus," Viridi and Chris said. "Yeah, focus, lady," the Sandbag said. Everyone in there did a double-take at the inanimate object with eyes. "...Did that just...?" Viridi trailed off. The Sandbag started to sweat bullets and suddenly started hopping away from the scene. As everyone exchanged disturbed glances and watched it leaving them, no one was more disturbed than Lucario, who couldn't sense any sort of aura from it to tell it was alive. It may have as well been an unknown presence with a higher purpose hidden within its sandy innards... "...Uh...should we be concerned?" Chris asked. "Er... Let's...move on for now," Palutena said. Everyone shrugged. "So, um, okay. Okay. More suggestions. Hmm. There is so much to do here. Perhaps indulge in learning about other fighters?" Sephiroth pinched his chin in thought. "Not exactly a bad choice to occupy my time. Who do you have in mind?" he asked. "I pity the poor sap she brings up," Viridi muttered. "Ha! I love my nature puns." "You could so totally hang out with Ganondorf," Palutena suggested with a smile. "It fits! I heard he used to have a sword minion in a past life with a flair for the dramatic. You could stir up some memories in him." "...I am no one's minion," Sephiroth said in a threatening tone. Chris instinctively took a step back. Lucario instinctively took a step forward while growling. (continued in comments)
