British Army Phase One (Phase 1) Basic Training From Start To Finish This video shows you everything involved in Phase One training; from the day you arrive to the day you earn your regimental headdress after passing the drill test; from start to finish. It is the complete phase one basic training experience. What is involved? During Phase One training you will learn what it takes to be a soldier. You will do lots of fitness training including runs, circuits and loaded marches (tabs). You will learn how to march and carry out drill movements. You will learn how to handle weapon systems and how to fire them on the ranges. You will deploy on exercise to learn the basics of sustaining yourself in the field. You will learn basic skills such as navigation and survival.
