2007 C230 Benz- Solution if your key will not unlock steering wheel or turn ignition switch.

I will show you how I removed the ESL and ignition switch from the dash of a 2007 C230 Sport Mercedes without removing the steering wheel and the column. This is a very common problem with these cars. If your key is NOT turning in the ignition switch most likely it is the ignition switch or the electronic steering lock (ESL). In my case it was the ESL only.
