Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band performed “Twist and Shout” live at the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse, New York on Thursday April 18, 2024. A sign request, this was song #26 of the night. Written by Phil Medley and Bert Berns in 1961, this song was originally recorded by The Top Notes. It was covered by The Isley Brothers in 1962 and The Beatles in 1963. This concert in Syracuse was my 44th time seeing Bruce Springsteen perform. It was my 36th time seeing The E Street Band perform.
