Jaime explores the idea of the right to live in a healthy environment. Using international precedence, and incorporating suggestions for the future, Canada’s environmental rights record is dismal, but there is room for improvement and practical application. Jamie Simpson is the author of Restoring the Acadian Forest, A Guide to Forest Stewardship for Woodlot Owners in the Maritimes, and Journeys in Eastern Old-growth Forests: A Narrative Guide. Jamie has a background in biology, forestry and law, and has worked as a forester, writer and advocate for sensible forestry practices.
