There are three modes the player can choose from: "Ranking", "1P vs 2P", and "Tournament". The last two are two-player modes where both players can square off against each other. Ranking is the single-player mode where the player competes in matches while building up their boxer's stats. As the game progresses, the player goes up the weight classes from Welterweight to Heavyweight.
