These take the place of the Adamanchelid once you complete certain missions on Gran Pulse (the Cie'th stones that form a circle in the central expanse). They drop golden nuggets for gil and dark matter for accessory upgrades. My party is Fang, Lighting, Vanille, all with ultimate weapons and all crystarium trees maxed. Paradigm setup is: Sent/Sent/Sent (default) Comm/Medic/Medic Syn/Syn/Syn Rav/Rav/Rav Sab/Sab/Sab Com/Com/Com IMPORTANT: If you ever see the Shaolong Gui casting Quake, Bay, or Ultima SWITCH TO SEN/SEN/SEN to eat the damage, or you will most likely die/lose a member. This applies throughout the entire fight. You may want to do this for stomps as well, depending on your HP Starting off with Sentinel x3, wait for the quake to damage you and switch to Rapid Growth (Syn x3) autocasting on Lightning and Vanille; this should give everyone haste and protectra (don't worry, they will cast on you). Switch back to Sen/Sen/Sen to eat the stomp he will do, then immediately switch to infiltration (Sab x3). As Fang, cast Slow on him while the others get the rest - you should be able to get deprotect, deshell, imperil, and slow applied. Once all these are on, either switch to Com/Med/Med to heal (if you've taken stomps during that) or Syn x3 and cast bravera/faithra on everyone. Lightning should cast enfire on everyone during the same period. Switch to Rav/Rav/Rav and break him until 900% or so (switching to tortoise if it casts anything, and healing if needed) then go to Com/Com/Com and burn him down. I usually highwind when he's a little less than 1/3 hp, but it doesn't save much time.
