Either way, the fact that Atwood emphasizes the variety of looks Morticia will have suggests that her character may play a more influential role in season 2. Furthermore, the Wednesday season 1 finale showed Ortega’s character leaving Nevermore for the remainder of the semester. On the drive home, texts from a stalker pop up on her phone, showing images of Wednesday taken from a distance. Season 2 could see Wednesday mystery-solving in this break from Nevermore, focusing on the stalker’s motive and identity.
