Filmed in December 2021 I finally got to try out United’s long-haul economy on their flagship aircraft the 777-300ER. United has some of the youngest 777-300ERs in the world with an average age of 4 years. Although the flight was nothing special, I still had a comfortable and enjoyable flight. I was pleasantly surprised to see that United had brought the service back to pre-pandemic levels which shows that they have stopped using the pandemic as an excuse for cost-cutting. This could be seen on my Polaris Business flight 6 months ago when I flew to Munich, United had drastically reduced service for Business Class. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about my experience and I would not mind flying United again long-haul in economy.
