I always thought the F6F Hellcat was really cool, so when I found this kit at the local hobby store, I picked it up. I made a few minor modifications, including adding control surfaces that are adjustable with the use of lightweight, bendable wire hinges (the wire is glued in place and made from garbage bag twist ties; it works really well). I covered the model in colored tissue I found at the dollar store (not the best quality, but it worked) then i applied two coats of 30% EZe Dope and 70% water. I traced the decals onto white tissue, painted the back white, and then applied them with a glue stick. This was a fun and straightforward kit to put together.
