I’m just back from almost two weeks travelling with Fred Olsen Cruise Lines on the MS Borealis from Liverpool in northwest England to the north of Norway. Yes that’s right, a cruise well beyond the Arctic circle in the darkness and subzero temperatures of January - all with the goal of seeing the aurora borealis, otherwise known as the northern lights.
