GTMedia Finder V8 Pro vs Leadstar D7

I got myself this SAT finder because it supports DVB-S/'S2/S2X, DVB-C and DVB-T (which I dont realy care about because I already have a good portable tv) But I wanted to test So I tested its DVB-T performance against my great portable tv I tested local MUX C in Krim (E32), which is transmitting with 5kW and is about 12km away from here I also tested against one more MUX on E38 which is also using 5kW but has poorer signal Well, my portable TV won This Sat finder is bearly able lock to anything GTMedia Finder V8 Pro: https://www.amazon.com/GT-MEDIA-Satel... Leadstar (my belowed portable TV) D7: https://m.aliexpress.com/item/3279761... I got this tv in 2017, I paid 50$ + shipping + import tax = 70€ it was at the end Now, why did I get this meter, istead of SAT Hero SH-820HD Because thats only meter in china, which has active comunity (forum at freesat.cn), which has an ability to watch encrypted content, which can decode teletext and subtitles, and maybe could be hacked and could also plug a wifi dongle in it and acsess youtube or CAS Server to watch pay tv With this finders you realy are limited to what you can get Satlink charges for software updates, cannot decode teletext, SatHero cannot decode teletext, no comunity, did not even find a software update for it Then you have german brands like MegaSat and Telstar which charge premium (900€ for Megastar HD7), have no active comunity (at least I have not found any), noone took them apart so you could at least see what CPU they use, and if you think of costumizing them you are out of luck because there are so few people that have them and also have the knowhow on how to reverse engeneer their devices Enjoy this comparison I will test DVB-C and DVB-S later
