6029 at the 2024 Bathurst Steam Weekend in 4K HDR - 8th and 9th June 2024

On the 8th and 9th of June 2024 steam locomotive 6029 ran shuttles between Bathurst and Wimbledon with 4501 assisting. There was a heavy fog on Saturday morning but no real rain over the two days. This video begins with coverage of three runs up Tumulla Bank shot from Middle Bridge. The first is the first Sunday morning shuttle, a spectacular run on a cold morning with minimal fog, the second and third runs are the second and third shuttles from Saturday morning. The second shuttle ran in heavy fog. The fog had lifted by the third shuttle but the temperature had also risen a few degrees. The video then shows the train at various locations representing a run from Bathurst to Wimbledon and then a return to Bathurst. I will also be posting a video of Monday's run to and from Orange where the 60 class ran unassisted. This will also include two clips from Tuesday's run back to Sydney. A very enjoyable weekend and a credit to all involved.
