Bijoy Jain: 2021 Awards for Distinction

Bijoy Jain, MArch90, was presented with the Sam Fox School Dean's Medal, which honors individuals whose extraordinary contributions have elevated the fields of art, architecture, and design, as part of the 2021 Awards for Distinction program. The internationally renowned architect is the founder of the Indian architectural practice Studio Mumbai. This video features reflections were taken from a special conversation conducted remotely between Jain and Adrian Luchini, one of Jain’s former professors and now good friend. In their conversation, Jain reflected on his process and aesthetic, as well as how the idea of studio practice he learned at WashU continues to shape his approach. 📱Follow along while we make stuff!   / samfoxschool     / samfoxschool     / samfoxschool   __________ 👋 About Us The Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis is a leader in architecture, art, and design education.
