Making Bunny-Themed Bath Bombs | MO River Soap

Hello everyone! I'm Holly and in this video I am showing how I made some super fun bunny-themed bath bombs. These bath bombs are currently available at moriversoap.com! 💙 S H O P https://moriversoap.com/ 💜 S O C I A L M E D I A Instagram: https://tinyurl.com/y2eqajch Facebook: https://tinyurl.com/y4ppc6yr Facebook Group: https://tinyurl.com/y44ganzp 💚 F I L M I N G & E D I T I N G Camera used to film: Sony ZV-1 Camera used for images: Nikon D3200/50mm lens Video Editing Software: Adobe Premiere Pro Music by Epidemic Sound: http://www.epidemicsound.com 💛 E Q U I P M E N T Cada Molds - cadamolds.com - search for bunny Cooklee Mixer 9.5 Quart (Amazon) KD 8000 Scale (Amazon) Mini Silicone Mixing Cups (Mad Micas) ✨ B A T H B O M B R E C I P E 2400 grams Baking Soda (Sam's Club) 30 grams Distilled Water (Grocery Store) 30 grams 70% Isopropyl Alcohol (Amazon) 36 grams Cream of Tartar (Wholesale Supplies Plus) 36 grams Arrowroot Powder (Amazon) 36 grams Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate - slsa (Two Wild Hares) 36 grams Buttermilk Powder (Anthony's - Amazon) 1 Tablespoon Gold Enigma Mica (Nurture) or Blue Moon Mica ( Mad Micas) 30 grams Apricot Kernel Oil (Blossom Bulk) 15 grams Polysorbate 80 (Bramble Berry) 30 grams Fragrance Oil (Follow IFRA safe usage rates) 15-30 grams 99% Isopropyl Alcohol (Uline) 1200 grams Citric Acid (Ravago Chem) Micas used for painting - Gold Enigma Mica (Nurture), Amaranth Mica (Nurture), Sparkle Plenty Mica (Mad Micas) Colors Used are FDA Approved and Batch Certified Lake Powders for Bath Bombs - Red 27, Red 40, Blue 1, Yellow 5, and Yellow 6. You can reduce the buttermilk cream powder and/or the slsa to have a more active bath bomb. Be sure to reduce the water and/or alcohol in the recipe if you decrease the powders. Keep in mind that the humidity in your location will affect the liquid used GREATLY. Adding embeds, especially off-setting them, will cause the bath bomb to be propelled and/or spin (for rounder bombs). I choose not to use embeds due to certain patents in place. You may notice that the recipes I share vary quite a bit. I am always tweaking to find the best recipe. Bath Bomb recipes vary greatly and they can all be amazing. It's just a matter of finding that perfect one. Missouri River Soap is not responsible for any outcome that results from testing or using of this recipe. Follow all safety precautions and heed all warnings for the production and use of bath bombs. ✨ I N G R E D I E N T I N F O: *SLSa - Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate is a sulfate free surfactant. It is derived from coconut and palm and is gentle and mild. It is Eco Certified. The coarse powder does not need to be ground but does have a larger particle size that helps to keep the powder less airborne than the fine. I only buy from Two Wild Hares as this is my preferred SLSa. *Polysorbate 80 is an emulsifier. This helps to incorporate the oils and colors into the bath water without floating on the surface. This also helps to prevent colors from leaving a ring on the tub...and you! *Pay attention the to IFRA usage rates for the fragrance you choose. *Citric Acid Powder - I look for Anhydrous Fine * Colorants - Make sure you pick colorants and glitter that is safe for bath bombs. Lakes and Dyes must be batch certified. Not all micas and glitters are safe for bath bombs. Pay very close attention to this!
