The initial idea was a two-phase project, a growing organism adapting to its surroundings. A grid, a framework, the foundation for a future expansion. Imagine a house elevated, its first breath drawn in the clean forest air, with room for its roots to delve deeper, anchoring it firmly to the earth. A plinth, strong and silent, ready to support the weight of the future. But plans, like the wind through the trees, can shift. The pandemic, a force unseen, reshaped the landscape. The dream of a second home became a yearning for a primary refuge. So, the two phases morphed, intertwined like the branches overhead.
