Genelec 8010A (Genelec G One) vs Presonus Eris E4.5 || Sound Demo w/ Bass Test

Presonus E4.5 on bhphotovideo: https://bhpho.to/2OniAAr Presonus E4.5 on amazon DE: http://amzn.to/2pbefrs Genelec on bhphotovideo: https://bhpho.to/2uVPUX7 Genelec on amazon DE: http://amzn.to/2zcE8ag -------------------------------- First off a short disclamer, Genelec 8010A and Genelec G One is the same speaker, the only difference between them is the type of audio input (8010A has XLR input while G One has RCA input). Genelec is very solid speaker not only build quality wise but also sound wise. 8010A is detiled and coherent, has very natural detailed and present midrange, slightly rolled off but precise top end and enough low to work well is small rooms. The only problem I have with Genelec is the high asking price, but I think it is justfied by overal quality of the product. For those who do not think that a monitor should cost that much, Presonus Eris E4.5 represents perfect alternative. E4.5 is not as solidly built but still soild for the price and has a sound quality that for many may be even more appealing than the one of Genelec. Especially the bass quality of Presonus is better than in 8010A, but that is expected considering difference in size of the speakers. Tonally E4.5 has more emphasis on top end and upper midrange, while lower midrange is not as fleshed out as in Genelec. Ofcourse E4.5 is not as compact as 8010A is, but it is still compact enough to fit most spaces anyway. What do You think? Which one sounds better in Your opinion? Let me know in the comments below! Cheers! -------------------------------------- All the tracks used in this video can be found here:    • Test Tracks   Sound recorded using Tascam DR-22WL recorder. Levels matched using SPL meter.
