As a Solano College Professor, I provide local students with the knowledge and skills necessary for successful careers in the health, science, and biomedical fields. I volunteer in schools throughout Solano County to inspire youth, and I collaborate with numerous non-profit groups to empower our neighborhoods. I earned my Bachelor of Science from UC Santa Barbara and Master of Science from CSU Channel Islands. As a lifelong resident of Markham Heights, I have seen and experienced many ups and downs in our beloved neighborhood and city. Despite much uncertainty, we have tremendous potential to get our economy back on track by setting our businesses and families up to succeed. This will require experienced leadership with diverse perspectives and innovative approaches to represent our families. I will be that leader. I will support our local businesses and efforts to recruit businesses that provide livable wages, policies that provide affordable housing ownership, reinvestment in our parks & recreation for all ages and strengthening our city-school partnership. Vacaville has always served as the land of opportunity for my family. I am stepping up to ensure the American Dream remains for generations to come.
