Do you know that there were seven grand churches inside the walls of Intramuros? They were built during the 350-years of Spanish colonial period, and were the base for spreading the Catholic religion all over the Philippines. The seven churches: Manila Cathedral, San Agustin, San Ignacio, San Nicolas de Tolentino, Our Lady of Lourdes, San Francisco and Santo Domingo. We were able to get old photos showing how beautiful these churches were. Unfortunately, 6 of them were badly damaged during the Second World War.
