I was in the ocean taking photos of the beautiful blue waves when a lot of sardine activity started occurring. I knew it wasn't a good idea to stay out there so I decided to come in and film from land. In this video, I document the netting of sardines along the South African coast. While this practice is part of local traditions and economies, it is crucial to approach it with an emphasis on ethical fishing. Sustainable methods protect marine ecosystems and ensure the long-term availability of sardine populations. My views on this situation do not imply agreement with all the practices observed; I am simply documenting the event.
