This is one of the first full songs I ever learned on the guitar, and more than 20 years later I'm still a big fan. Mesa Rectoverb for the distortion and clean tone. Tuning in drop D. There are a few different ways to play the intro and the chorus progressions, though I think this is similar to how Tremonti played it on the studio track. I missed the slides up to the high notes a couple of times, but I think it's mostly correct outside of those mistakes. Clean tone has a little bit of reverb but nothing otherwise. Pickups are Seymour Duncan Invaders and the strings are heavy Elixirs. Feel free to leave thoughts in the comments section below.
