FAQ: Q: "Weird Route?" Do you mean "Snowgrave Route?" A: None of the routes have "official" names, but sometimes fan-names become so powerful it feels like they do. In-code the game variables refer to it as Route B, or, The Weird Route. (It's not consistent). Since I often need to refer to the Route types before I can make a Spoiler Warning, I prefer "The Weird Route" as it min/maxes the spoilers/clarity ratio. That is to say, if I say "Weird Route" to someone who hasn't seen Snowgrave, they won't obtain any new information beyond "there is another route." Where as, if I say "The Weird Route" to someone who knows of it as Snowgrave, the worst that will happen is they will say "Wait, do you mean 'The Snowgrave Route?'" On the reverse side, 'Snowgrave' implies a lot about the nature of the route (involves Noelle, probably involves a lot of death) and isn't mentioned until later in the route. Besides, there's only 2 Chapters right now. What if Chapter 3 doesn't contain Noelle at all, but still includes a Dark Creepy Route? Since I can't edit a video once it drops, this is safer for longevity too. Q: The Disclaimers are different! A: Yeah, I designed the disclaimers so I can swap them in and out as the video requires. There isn't a lot of Theory Craft in this video, so I (hope?!) I can not drag everyone through the "don't be mean to theory crafters" bit just this once. I do spend a lot more time delving into Snowgrave here then I have for the last few videos, so it seemed like a good time to bring back a "content warning" disclaimer. Also I just learned about Keyframes so animation is less horrible. And this is my first time rewording the TTS disclaimer. While I standby my previous reasoning, I've been getting a lot of "stop using disability as a shield," which is kind of missing the whole point? I don't make disclaimers to not get mean comments, but if my message of, "be kind, be accommodating" isn't reaching people, it's worth putting some effort in to see if I can increase the odds of reducing hostility for TTS users as a whole. The "Spoilers" bit being shorter was just a desire to sync with the music better, don't read too hard into length-changes. Q: Where is cat version? A: I forgot to keep cat version in mind when I was editing, and now the screen is kind of cluttered. I can't figure out where to put cat with this much clutter so, no cat version today. Q: What happened to dog?! A Ewok is my roommate's dog, so sometimes he just follows 'em around the house. Don't panic if he's missing sometimes. Q: Did you know you misspelled Pirouette? It's all the blandness of Bread with unpredictable Chaos timing that can range from "2am one night" to "10am another" to "9pm another." I don't even have emotes!
