Finnish masonry heaters. -The Russian Rocket (Pönttöuuni)

Here I will show you the Russian Rocket (Pönttöuuni) and try the two extremes of how to burn it so that we have some facts & figures. In this video all the temperatures are in Celsius. I usually convert to Farenheit for my American viewers but I made a mistake half way through by rendering part of the video making it almost impossible to go back and add in Farenheit values. So please, no complaints. Just for the record I have watched dozens if not hundreds of videos about masonry heaters in the USA and can count on one hand the videos that bothered to convert Farenheit temperatures to Celsius for the 95% of the world who work with Celsius. Yes, I know that the figures I present would be more useful if I presented them in a graph format. It is something I did not know how to do. I am now learning and when I have it down I will publish a video of graphs to accompany these videos. Please do comment. I read all comments and reply to most. As I say in this video, There are multiple companies here installing 'new' pönttöuuni. They say they are using old knowledge and wisdom to create efficient masonry stoves but you know how it goes. They have simplified these stoves to make them easy to mass produce. I think they have made a mistake. The guys who made these stoves 70, 80, 100 years ago were not making them more complicated just for giggles. These modern companies are not laying brick, they have cast elements that they lay layer by layer. Instead of taking old knowledge and simplifying it to make it easier to cast why not exploit that old wisdom, make it as complex as those guys thought it needed to be and then use modern casting technology to make the build process simpler? Ok the moulds for the casting may be more complicated and costly but I would bet that the old designs will out perform the new ones. Any investors out there? I would love to build a Russian Rocket based on the old plans and then design the moulds for the cast elements to make new/old Rockets that would beat the new ones.....
