Fusion in Diversity - Part 2 | Pastor John Torrens

God’s heartbeat for us to be “fused” together in unity, even though we carry our own distinctions and diversities, is deeply rooted in His desire for us as His people to experience and manifest the fullness of His Spirit. Ephesians chapter 4 and the first part of verse 3 in the NIV says: “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit…” Did you notice the tone of the language there? “MAKE EVERY EFFORT…” The Amplified says it this way: “Be eager and strive earnestly to guard and keep the harmony and oneness of [and produced by] the Spirit…” Again, the tone and language pretty strong and directive, wouldn’t you say? Why? Because it takes the power of the Holy Spirit to fuse people together from all different backgrounds, cultures, languages and ethnicities, enabling them to function as ONE body with various giftings, talents and abilities ALL working together for the common good. In essence, it takes this "fusion in diversity" to see the lost get saved, the sick get healed, the lame to walk, the blind to see, and countless of others experience their very own breakthroughs, deliverances, and miracles. It takes this kind of fusion, and cohesion, and ONENESS to see the Kingdom of Heaven manifest in fullness on earth as it is in Heaven. It really does! We simply cannot wait to be with you all this coming Sunday at our 8am and 10:30am services, as well as with all of our online viewers, many of whom will be watching from around the world.
