Navigating MyMedicare and preparing for the Aged Care Incentive - 20 June 2024

MyMedicare is a new voluntary patient registration model. It aims to strengthen the relationship between patients their general practice, general practitioners (GP) and primary care teams. This webinar will provide an overview of MyMedicare, and highlight the changes expected in 2024 including the new Aged Care Incentive. The session will also discuss the importance of planning for the changes within the practice and provide guidance on resources to assist in maximising available incentives and improve efficiencies. Learning Outcomes: 1. Identify the components of the MyMedicare in General Practice program that have been introduced to date. 2. Describe the changes to come in 2024 around RACF residents and Chronic disease funding models. 3. Recognise the need for practice discussion and planning to determine roles and responsibilities in preparing your practice for the future changes 4. Recall where to find the resources available to assist practice preparation for the upcoming changes around data preparedness
