Periphery - Lune (COVER)

This is an interpretation of Periphery's metal ballade "Lune". The original features all kinds of guitars, drums, bass, complex vocal constructs and even orchestral elements. I attempted to catch the general atmosphere and translate it to a piano/vocal version. For those of you, who don't know the original, some parts may appear to be exaggerated dynamically or expression-wise - but this was done quite intentionally. Be careful! This song ain't one of those nice popsongs I usually do upload... although there is this kind of mainstream tendency... Its duration is 7:30 minutes, it has an interesting structure, the metrum is 7/8, changing to 4/4 in the end. I like it a lot, because it strongly supports the lyrics - it's about love and how disruptive and restless it can feel like sometimes. The song starts with the "falling in love" theme, gets stuck and transitions into some stressed out phase, finally relaxing in a long fade out. Ok, enough background info now. Have fun! .
