Cutting Board -Weave design with Maple -Walnut and Cherry In this video I made a cutting board for one of my customers , I use weave design including the walnut frame. Maple , Walnut and Cherry wood used in this project. WARNING || PLEASE MAKE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK, IT IS RECOMENDED TO USE CROSS CUT SLIDE OR ANY SAFETY METHOD. I HAVE EXPERIENCE CUTTING IN THIS WAY, PLEASE BE SAFE WHILE BUILDING. pattern and dimensions : for a board 10.5 in x 16x 1.5 in the thickness you need : 1. 1.5x1.5 in Cherry as a background. 2. 1" x1.5 in Maple. 3. 0.25 Walnut. so you cut the Cherry, Maple, and walnut stripes first after you plan them. then you glue the walnut to the Maple as a sandwich.let them stay overnight, the next day cut the Cherry to 1.5 in and you have 24 pieces. cut the combination of maple and walnut to (8 pieces)1.5x1.5 in and (15 pieces) 4.5x1.5 in. finally, glue the pieces the same as the pattern on the video.
