Making an 18th century gown from Ikea materials

Presenting an 18th century dress I made with materials and fabrics from Ikea. The fabric is the "Ljusöga" model, a fabric print based on historical eighteenth century examples. This dress is based on historical examples but I am not a dress historian, this is not really historically accurate. I used mostly the sewing machine to make this gown, and of course the DIY trim from an Ikea bag was just a fun thing to do. It is worn over the historical underwear, shift, corset (stays) and petticoat I made before:    • 18th century underwear + sewing a sim...   ❤️Thanks for watching. I love making costumes and cosplays and hope to share a lot more sewing process, tell me what you think ! ____________________ 🕘Timestamps: 00:00 Intro 01:00 Sewing the cotton lining for the dress bodice 01:35 Cutting the IKEA flower fabric for the outside dress bodice 04:21 Sewing the pleated over skirt 06:07 Sewing under skirt like the petticoat 06:59 Decoration DIY, making the trim 08:39 Reveal of the gown, dressing up a historical lady ____________________ 📸 Many more costumes in my Instagram !   / hazarielcostumes   👒Support my work !   / hazariel   ☕Just a coffee : https://ko-fi.com/hazariel ____________________ 🎵 Musics are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution license Baroque Coffee House - Doug Maxwell, Media Right Productions    • Baroque Coffee House – Doug Maxwell, ...   English Country Garden by Aaron Kenny    • 🎵 English Country Garden - Aaron Kenn...   Music by Joakim Karud    / joakimkarud   Music by @joakimkarudmusic ____________________ #historicalcostume #18thcenturyfashion #
