Defeating Awakened Duke. I used some very helpful tips from Sri and Port to get this clear, which aren't super widely known. Duke's Enrage isn't actually random, it just follows different rules. Duke can either Acid twice in a row, or Eye following an Acid. If Duke Acids twice in a row, the next special will be a "Fast Eye" after only one auto attack. It's very important to be ready for this by paying attention to Duke's attacks. The biggest difference maker for me was using vents more, the quad vent attack is the breathing room where you can safely heal and repot. Paying attention to stat drains and focusing on staying at 118 or at least 99 drastically increases DPS, I had quite a few learning runs stall out barely into enrage by brewing down/ taking orbs and doing 0 dps even with good hit uptime. Both gear discords and all guide recommend Fang Slash pre enrage, however Scythe is significantly better DPS. Bellator ring would beat Ultor. Serp is better than Torva Helm as you can poison Duke, Slayer Helmet helps for learning but does nothing once you're used to the boss. I used a Blood fury but I would recommend Torture instead as you get very little lifesteal in reality. Most recommended setups contain 3 supercombats and/or a Remedy however I don't think the third is necessary. Gear: https://i.imgur.com/grDQTf1.png I can do this~~!
