Pathfinder lady REFUSES to stop - Troopers break her car window to make arrest

Trooper's Narrative: On September 14, 2023, I was parked on Interstate 40 near the 249-mile marker running stationary radar. I positioned my vehicle to observe traffic traveling westbound. I observed a black SUV-style vehicle traveling at what appeared to be a high rate of speed. Using radar to confirm my observation, I detected this vehicle traveling at 98 mph in a posted 75 mph zone. After the vehicle passed my location, I pulled onto Interstate 40 and traveled westbound to initiate a traffic stop on this vehicle. I activated my emergency lights and sirens, but the vehicle continued traveling westbound at speeds over 90mph. As I closed the distance, the vehicle slowed to 60mph but continued to travel westbound on Interstate 40. I informed Cpl. West via radio; I was attempting to stop this vehicle. While still traveling westbound, the vehicle and I passed Cpl. West’s location who then positioned himself secondary in the pursuit. At this time, speeds were reduced which allowed CPL. West and I drove beside the vehicle multiple times in an attempt to gain the driver's attention. The driver however continued to travel westbound and never acknowledged our presence when we were beside her vehicle. The vehicle took exit 243 (Rest Stop Area) where it got behind a semi-truck which blocked the vehicle from traveling any further. I exited my patrol car and approached the vehicle due to being able to see the suspect’s hands on the steering wheel. While at the driver’s side window, I knocked on it and the driver looked at me but refused to exit. She then pulled her car forward a few feet more to evade my presence but could not continue to flee due to traffic being stopped in front of her. Commands were given for her to exit her vehicle multiple times but were ignored. Cpl. West used a window punch on the driver’s side window to allow us to assist the female suspect in exiting her vehicle. The window punch however did not break the driver’s window out completely and at that time I used my baton to rake the window creating a hole. This caused damage to the suspect’s driver-side window. The port in the window allowed entry into the suspect’s vehicle so that the door could be opened to remove the suspect from the vehicle. The suspect had left the vehicle in drive and would not remove her seatbelt. Cpl. West cut the suspect’s seatbelt and the suspect was assisted out of the vehicle and taken into custody. I then transported the female suspect to the St. Francis County Detention Center, where she was booked and charged.
