In no way is the Pixel 8a better than Pixel 8 except the form factor which is more comfortable because it's smaller in size and offers a better grip. In all other ways, including value for money, the Pixel 8 is better than pixel 8a. Is Pixel 8a a good phone for it's price? No. In the US, the Pixel 8a is for $499 while the Pixel 8 is only $50 more expensive, at $549 which makes a lot more sense as it offers a lot more for just $50 more. In India, however, there are many other smartphones at the same price or even at lesser price offering higher performance which could be great options. Phones such as iQOO 12 and OnePlus 12R are much better phones to consider.
