Honoring those of us that remember May 1977 as being the release date of one of the most ICONIC movie series to ever exist. MAY THE 4th BE WITH YOU ON THIS EXCITING DAY. Steam trains....A marvel of engineering. Add the Texas State Railroad to the mix, and you've just created a fantastic weekend getaway waiting to happen. Located in the deep east Texas piney woods, you will find The Texas State Railroad located about 4 1/2 miles east of Palestine Texas. An enjoyable day trip bringing back the yester years of rail travel.
