Battle Masters: The Younger, BIGGER Sibling of HeroQuest

In 1992 MB Games and Games Workshop completed their epic trilogy of family board games with the release of Battle Masters; a huge two player wargame featuring over a hundred Citadel miniatures from the Empire and the forces of Chaos. Conceived by HeroQuest and Space Crusade game designer Stephen Baker the game was an enormous undertaking and tried to capture his childhood experiences with miniature wargames and Warhammer Fantasy in a single box. In Germany and some other countries the game was made famous under the name Die Claymore Saga, with a brand new story and setting.
