St. Mary's Island, located off the coast of Udupi, Karnataka, is a breathtaking natural wonder that enchants visitors with its unique rock formations, pristine sandy beaches, and clear turquoise waters. The island's distinctive hexagonal basalt rock columns, formed millions of years ago due to ancient volcanic activity, create a visually stunning sight. Its powdery white beaches provide a serene setting for relaxation, while the inviting blue waters offer opportunities for swimming and snorkeling amidst vibrant coral reefs and marine life. Malpe Sea Walk way The Malpe Seawalk in Udupi is a must-visit tourist attraction, especially if you're heading to Malpe Beach. Located near Malpe Harbour, you can easily reach it via the Malpe-Udupi Road and pay a small entry fee. The 450-meter sea walk offers captivating views of the Arabian Sea on one side and backwaters on the other, with benches and a sculpture of a fisherman family, making it a perfect spot for Instagram-worthy photos. In the mornings, you can witness fishermen heading out to sea for their catch, and some even sell their fresh catch by the Malpe Sea Walk. Enjoy the sunset over the treetops in the evening or capture the beauty of the lamp-lit sea walk at night. While it's a picturesque spot, swimming in the water is not recommended. 3.
