Heute bin ich im Wallis unterwegs, das heisst auf der Fafleralp im Lötschental. Das Tagesziel ist die auf 2358 Meter liegende Anenhütte. Die Route beginnt bei einer kleinen Brücke über die Lonza. Der Weg ist zu Beginn relativ flach, aber es geht doch immer etwas aufwärts mit ständiger Sicht auf den Langgletscher. Später zweigt man links ab und erreicht nach vielen anstrengenden Kehren die Anenhütte. Für den Abstieg wähle ich die Variante via Guggistafel. Auf der Fafleralp wartet der Postbus nach Goppenstein.
