Duke and I just spent a little over a week visiting Fuerteventura, El Hierro and Gran Canaria, three of the Canary Islands. This was the second time we have been to the Canaries. We have enjoyed them on both trips. Each island is very different. Fuerteventura was arid with beautiful beaches. We stayed at the Melia all inclusive Resort. El Hierro was extremely peaceful. We drove all over the island and hiked some great trails. We stayed at the Parador on El Hierro We were only on Gran Canaria two nights. It is also very beautiful. It is the most populous of the Canaries. On Gran Canaria we stayed at the Casa Leon Royal Retreat. At the end of the video we discuss what our impressions were of each of the islands.
