Imogen Heap, The Walk (live), San Francisco, CA, June 8, 2019 (HD)

Imogen Heap plays the song "Goodnight And Go" live in concert at The Masonic in San Francisco, CA on June 8, 2019. The song originally appeared on her 2005 solo album Speak For Yourself. Joining Heap onstage were Zoe Keating (cello), Emma Houston (keytar), Tim Keiper (drums), and Steve Jones (guitar). Heap performs with Mi.Mu musical gloves, which allow her to manipulate/loop her voice and musical samples with movements of her hands. She said this about them: "They basically enable me to reach inside that computer, and have access to all the software that I love. All of the augmentation of my voice. Or maybe I want to bring in some samples. Or add in a delay. Or reverse my voice, or whatever I want to do. So all of the vocal effects you're hearing tonight are done live." The Walk lyrics: Inside out Upside- own, twisting beside myself Stop that now 'Cause you and I were never meant to meet I think you'd better leave, it's not safe in here I feel a weakness coming on Alright then alright then I could keep your number for a rainy day That's where this ends No mistakes, no misbehaving I was doing so well, could we just be friends? I feel a weakness coming on It's not meant to be like this, not what I planned at all I don't want to feel like this No, it's not meant to be like this, not what I planned at all I don't want to feel like this, so that makes it all your fault Inside out Upside down, twisting beside myself Stop that now You're as close as it gets without touching me Oh now, don't make it harder than it already is Mmm, I feel a weakness coming on It's not meant to be like this, not what I planned at all I don't want to feel like this No, it's not meant to be like this, not what I planned at all I don't want to feel like this, so that makes it all your fault Big trouble, losing control Primary resistance at a critical low On the, on the double gotta get a hold Point of no return, one second to go No response on any level, red alert, this vessel's under siege Total overload, all systems down, they've got control There's no way out, we are surrounded Give in, give in and relish every minute of it Freeze or make it forever I feel a weakness coming on It's not meant to be like this, not what I planned at all I don't want to feel like this No, it's not meant to be like this, it's just what I don't need Why make me feel like this? It's definitely all your fault Feel like this La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la - it's all your fault Feel like this La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la - it's all your fault Feel like this La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la - it's all your fault Feel like this La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la - it's all your fault Written by Imogen Jennifer Heap Mycelia North American and European Tour Dates (with some Frou Frou songs performed with Guy Sigsworth): April 28 – Miami, FL @ Fillmore Miami Beach May 3-4 – Washington DC @ Lincoln Theatre May 7-8 –New York, NY @ Town Hall Theatre May 14 – Chicago, IL @ The Vic Theatre May 16-17 – Toronto, Ontario @ Queen Elizabeth Theatre May 24 – Boston, MA @ Emerson Colonial Theatre June 1 – Austin, TX @ ACL Live at the Moody Theater June 5 – Seattle, WA @ The Moore Theatre June 8 – San Francisco, CA @ The Masonic Auditorium June 13 – Los Angeles, CA @ The Greek Theatre Nov. 2 – Berlin, Germany @ Passionskirche Nov. 4 – Amsterdam, Netherlands @ De Meervaart Nov. 5 – Paris, France @ L'Alhambra Nov. 7 – Dublin, Ireland @ Vicar Street Nov. 10 – Glasgow, Scotland @ SWG3 Galvanizers Yard Nov. 11 – Gateshead, England @ The Sage Nov. 12 – Manchester, England @ Bridgewater Hall Nov. 15 – London, England @ The Roundhouse
