These are the lifts from my "afraid of lifts when I was young, this is why" vid.    • Afraid of lifts when I was young - th...   Strange why the architects designed this building with an unlucky number at the top floor!! But for me this is not an unlucky visit as the lifts are STILL NOT MODERISED! :) This video was filmed in 2013, so perhaps they have been ripped out now, but good that I've refilmed them in HD before that happens. These are bound to be modernised at some stage, but for now they have their 1970s original character. Plenty of squeaks, knocking and unexplained noises lol! Notice the delayed call lamp at the start of the video... this happened before in my previous video. I thought it was part of the relay logic screwing up (perhaps a bad connection) but now I believe it's just how the relay logic works. Considering the controller is 100% relay logic I think it's because - If both lifts are moving AWAY from a call (for example, I'm on the top floor and both are doing down) then you have to wait for a lift to change to collecting calls in the other direction. After that happens the call lamp is lit. Although I've never noticed it anywhere else except this place. OH by the way - did anyone spot the mrmattandmrchay editing mistake ???
