San Josef Bay, Vancouver Island! New years 2024! Sea stacks! Sea caves! Best beaches in the world!?

We head up to the north end of Vancouver Island, and explore San Josef Bay! It's around an hour and a half down active logging roads from Port Hardy. The road is notorious for destroying tires and our trip would prove to add more statistics to the growing numbers! We and someone else had a flat upon returning to our vehicle, and on the way out we saw 2 other people dealing with tires! Once at the Cape Scott parking lot, it's only about an hour each way to San Josef Bay. We didn't see any tent pads at San Josef, but managed to find a spot pretty easily. From 4 PM on New Years Eve until noon the next day, we had the beach to ourselves. Some new toilets were in the process of being built, and there were a number of food caches! We missed the sea stacks our first day due to tides, but managed to explore them a bit the following day .
