Gavin's Kindergarten Concert Interrupted by Tornado
Gavin's 2015 Kindergarten concert, taking place at Genoa Kingston Highschool, was interrupted by a tornado touchdown approximately 5 miles away in Kirkland and Fairdale Illinois. They had us gather in an interior hallway for the remainder of the warning. At one point it was reported that the twister was heading straight for the school before it veered north away from us. Staff and kids did great during the emergency. The last scene is of the children finishing their concert in the hallway, and Gavin's happy reunion with daddy.
