TMCF member-schools include the publicly-supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs), and Historically Black Community Colleges (HBCC). Publicly-supported HBCUs TMCF member schools represent 80% of all students attending HBCUs. Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) achieves an impressive graduation rate of 85-90% for its scholars, which stands out remarkably compared to other educational statistics. In contrast, the overall graduation rate for Black/African American students is just 46%, and students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) have a lower graduation rate of 39%. Additionally, the general graduation rate for students across all races and nationalities, irrespective of attending an HBCU, is 64%.
