My helicopter flyovers videos of California have inspired lots of flyover requests. One interesting request came from a documentary filmmaker who asked if I would be willing to shoot footage along the length of the LA River. I agreed but wasn’t sure the journey would merit a Micah Flies video. Man, I’m so glad I decided to film the flight. Not only was the LA River’s development from Van Nuys to Long Beach fascinating but we also saw many of the sites viewers have requested. To top off the flight, a plane had to make an emergency landing as I approached Long Beach and I listened to the drama unfold in real-time. It was a flight to remember.
