This is a great move for beginners to learn as it teaches the importance of preparing for your next step when skating. If you do not prepare for the next outside edge correctly, the exercise becomes very hard. This can be tricky at first as there is quite a lot of things to at the same time during each outside edge, so it is easy to get muddled up. To succeed, you must understand the concept of how your arms move in unison with your feet. Once mastered, it can be a very satisfying move to do.
