1950's Cinnamon Raisin Bread

This bread was very popular in the 1950's and could be purchased at almost every grocery store in the loaf bread isle. Here are the recipe ingredients: Basic Sweet Dough Recipe 1/2 cup whole milk, scalded 4 tablespoons butter (1/2 stick) 1/2 cup sugar 1 1/2 teaspoons salt 2 large eggs 3 teaspoons active dry yeast 1/2 cup filtered water (105-115 degrees for dissolving yeast) 4 1/2 cups bread flour or all-purpose flour Filling to make swirl: Cinnamon, sugar and 1/4 cup melted butter 1/2 cup raisins that have been soaked in hot water then drained Note: Use as much cinnamon as you like in the recipe Icing: 2 tablespoons butter and 2 tablespoons honey, melted Splash of vanilla extract 2 cups confectioner's sugar 2-3 tablespoons milk or half n half pinch of salt This should make a thick icing.
