Based on research from industry, behavioural safety training specialist, Azea, were approached by Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions, in partnership with National Grid, to design a number of behavioural based videos on situations that have occurred within other organisations, in other sectors, across the UK. The purpose of these videos was to highlight negative behaviour to discuss how it can both harm the person and the company. These videos are to be an integral part of the company's' ongoing behavioural safety training programme. The videos, which are a very exaggerated version of events that could potentially happen on site within any company, are to be used to further improve what is an already exemplary safety record by learning from other organisations experience. They have been designed to create teaching points and entice debates on what is, and is not, acceptable behaviour within any company. This behavioural safety training programme is part of the companies forward thinking drive to achieve Zero Harm. None of these fabricated scenarios have occurred within this company, and are purely exaggerated for learning purposes.
