You should always consult with your doctor before starting any exercise routine. Dancing is FUN, but is tough on the body. The amount of fatigue it creates (and risk for repetitive injury) is greatly disproportionate to the health benefits. It is not the answer to weight loss but can be helpful in your process as an option for cardio. If you're looking to improve your health, lose weight, get fit etc, the most valuable form of exercise is weight training. I recommend you follow Jeremy Ethier on YouTube and/or seek out a personal trainer. I recommend limiting dance workouts to once or twice a week and focusing on building strength. Just an honest share from experience. My least healthiest time in my adult life was when I was teaching Zumba classes and jams 10+ hrs a week. Have fun, but be smart in your choices of exercise. ❤️
