First of all, I want to thank RichaadEB for giving me the opportunity to meet a lot of talented people out there. Good luck everybody! I really like these kinds of contests because I get to share my ideas with many great musicians. Ever since I applied (with NintendoCore Duo) for the FamilyJules contest back in 2014, things have been going really great for us. This time I wanted to test my limits and reflect on my progress in these past four years of making Youtube covers. I covered this particular song a long time ago but I didn’t do it justice. The arrangements were bad, the mix was terrible and video quality was non-existent  However, when Richard announced this contest, I knew I had to give this song another go because Journey to Silius, in my opinion, has the best soundtrack on the NES. I have redone it completely and now I’m happy with the results. As for the video, I recorded it at the Old Fortress in my town (I had to ask for permission to record anything there) which is one of the most beautiful and best preserved medieval fortified buildings in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The fortress was built around the second half of the 14th and the first half of the 15th century. I was really honored when I got the permission to shoot a video there  I recorded the ocarina part at the top of the hill (Bukovica) above my town (I had to walk for 2 hours to get there but it was totally worth it). All of this was extremely challenging because I had to balance a full-time job, my other projects and of course my private life but I’m happy I did it. I hope you’ll enjoy it!
